Bang & Olufsen’s new spokesperson looks like a book

Of course, when choosing a speaker set, sound quality is one of the most important things to look out for. However, if aesthetics are more your thing, then Bang & Olufsen is for you. The company recently ditched its newest speaker in the form of the Beosound Emerge.

As you can see in the picture above, the design of the speaker has been made to mimic a book. This means it can sit on your bookshelf and blend in with the rest of your books and no one would be the wiser. As expected from a Bang & Olufsen speaker set, Beosound Emerge uses luxurious materials such as oak, knitted fabric and aluminum.

The speakers also have built-in touch controls that users can use to control playback and volume. The Beosound Emerge was also designed with modularity in mind, so users can easily access the connectivity module that will keep the speaker upgradeable over the years.

In terms of connectivity, users can look forward to options like AirPlay 2 and Chromecast. With the built-in microphone, you can use it as a smart speaker with Google Assistant. As for pricing, it’s not really surprising to learn that the Black Anthracite model is priced at $ 699 and the Gold Tone version is $ 899.
