Carr began to limp when he completed the third game in the late first quarter. Then he went to the Las Vegas locker room when the Raiders kicked a field gate to bring their deficit down to 7-3.
After Carr was eliminated, backup Marcus Mariota took over the offensive in Las Vegas. This is Mariota's first appearance in Las Vegas since signing with the Raiders in the off-season. He spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Titans after being drafted second overall by Tennessee of Oregon in 2015.
Mariota threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Darren Waller on his first run.
