DJI Ronin RS 2 and RSC 2 Digicam Gimbals Introduced

Back in August, DJI removed the packaging of its smartphone gimbal frame with the DJI Osmo Mobile 4. However, if you'd rather use a dedicated camera to take your photos or videos and are still in the market for a gimbal, you are I am pleased to learn that DJI has since released several new ronin gimbals in the shape of the RS 2 and the RSC 2 announced.

The company actually teased the introduction of these gimbals last month, and it looks like they're finally here. What is the difference between the two models? Weight and portability. With the Ronin RS 2, this gimbal is aimed more at users who may have heavier cameras or lens attachments.

The RS 2 supports cameras and lenses weighing up to 10 pounds and offers up to 12 hours of battery life. The RSC 2 is aimed at smaller cameras with a payload of up to 6.6 lbs. So if your rig uses particularly heavy or large lenses, the RS 2 may be a better choice. Similar to the RS 2, the RSC 2 also offers a battery life of up to 12 hours.

For those interested, the DJI Ronin RS 2 starts at $ 849, while the DJI Ronin RSC costs $ 2,499, with additional accessories sold separately.
