
Are you all ready for NBA All-Star Weekend? Let’s call it all-star night.
Instead of holding their typical all-star events over several days, the league crammed everything into one evening. On Sunday, the best players from across the NBA will go to the ground at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The skill competitions and the all-star game take place within a few hours.

7:50 pm – On the buzzer. . . Bang! Stephen Curry hits the final ball of money to beat Mike Conley by one point. Curry is now a two-time 3-point champion.
7:40 pm – Stephen Curry blows away the rest of the field with a performance of 31 points. In the finals he will meet Mike Conley (28) and Jayson Tatum (25).
19:30 o’clock – The competition’s 3-point ranking by three shooters: Jayson Tatum (25), Zach LaVine (22) and Jaylen Brown (17). Next up are Mike Conley, Stephen Curry, and Donovan Mitchell.
7:25 pm – Somebody has to tell Jaylen Brown that there are no 4 point games in this competition.
Skills Challenge
7:05 pm – After finishing second last year, Domantas Sabonis won the Skills Challenge trophy.
“I wanted to make sure I did it this time,” said Sabonis.
19 o’clock – It’s a big final round. Domantas Sabonis and Nikola Vucevic defeat Skills Challenge favorites Chris Paul and Luka Doncic.
6:55 pm – And off we go. Domantas Sabonis defeated Julius Randle in the first matchup of the evening. Nikola Vucevic then eliminated Robert Covington to advance to the next round.

TO UPDATE: The NBA announced on Sunday that Team Durant’s Joel Embiid and Team LeBron’s Ben Simmons had been banned from the All-Star game under health and safety protocols. Zion Williamson will take Embiid’s place on the starting grid for Team Durant.
