Ah, Imola.

After a three-week hiatus in the preseason, Formula 1 returns this weekend with the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 2021, the second round of the race after the reintroduction of the track in the 2020 season shortened by the pandemic. And we should put on some fireworks.

In a very entertaining debut in Bahrain, there was a duel between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen in the final round. Hamilton only held Verstappen back to take the checkered flag on the season’s debut.

However, Hamilton’s victory was not without controversy: Verstappen overtook Hamilton by crossing the track limits in the final laps, and the Red Bull driver had to give the place to Hamilton through race control. Verstappen wasn’t pleased, but an advantage was gained. Rules are rules.

F1 drivers hit gear this weekend in Italy as Hamilton tries to start the season – on the track.

The ESPN network family will broadcast all 2020 F1 races in the USA via the Sky Sports feed. Some races will be broadcast on ABC later in the season.

When does the F1 race start today?

Date: Sunday April 18thStart time: 9 p.m. ET

The 9 a.m. ET start time for the Sunday race means the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix will begin at 3 p.m. local time. The start time every hour on the hour means the lights are likely to go out at 9:05 a.m. The pre-race ESPN show is usually broadcast in the hour before the race starts.

For those who have a cable or satellite subscription but are not in front of a TV, Formula 1 races in 2021 can be streamed live via phones, tablets and other devices in the ESPN app in 2021 with authentication.

Formula 1 schedule 2021

Formula 1 is returning in 2021 with a whopping 23 race schedule that starts on March 28 with the Bahrain Grand Prix and ends on December 12 with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The Portuguese Grand Prix returns for the second year in a row after 22 years of absence. This year the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix will also make its debut on the Jeddah Street Circuit, which is scheduled for December.
