Priyanka Chopra reveals which gown on the purple carpet made her really feel like a "Actual-Life Dancing Emoji"

As I sat at work from home waiting for Priyanka Chopra to step into our Zoom call, I thought about the last time I spoke to the actress. I interviewed her in 2017, right at the time Quantico came to an end. Obviously, a lot has changed for the actress as her career in the United States has flourished since then.

Priyanka was excited to hear about her new role as Creative Director for the sparkling seltzer brand BON V! Speaking V also spoke openly about her style development, her favorite moments on the red carpet and her cozy clothes for the Christmas season

While dressing up for the holiday season is definitely different this year due to COVID, the actress also seems to be following what most of us have been doing and that stays cozy.

"My holiday season starts with Diwali, which happens in November. Then we go to Thanksgiving and the (Christmas) tree comes up right after that. I'll be on the set a lot, but I think fashion will have this year. That's one of the Main reasons my BON V! V x Priyanka Chopra Jonas Christmas Kit ($ 100) has this amazing 100 percent silk pajama set (designed) by Helena Quinn, a Los Angeles-based women-owned brand. These pajamas are amazing! One is an emerald green color and the other is champagne / rose gold and they are so comfortable. They feel like pajamas but at the same time you can snap a picture in them and feel like you are dressed. "

"(Being South Asian) is my identity … from the walk I take, the conversation I speak, the clothes I wear and the legacy I leave behind."

Since brides are still trying to recreate Priyanka's wedding looks for which she brought in South Asian designers, I asked her to name more of her favorite labels. We talked about what it means to be a South Asian for her as she is one of the few Bollywood actresses to have managed to pave her way in Hollywood. In a powerful statement, Priyanka said, “(Being South Asian) is my identity. It is who I am. It is where I come from. It leads to everything I do. It is everything (I am) of Walk the way I walk, the conversation I speak, the clothes I wear and the legacy I leave behind. It will all come from my homeland which is India. "
