Samsung’s 2021 Smart TV range will include AirPlay 2 support

Would you like to be able to stream content wirelessly from your phone or computer to your TV? There are several ways to do this. However, if you’ve chosen the Apple ecosystem, AirPlay 2 is your friend. Unfortunately, the protocol isn’t available for all brands of TV unless you don’t mind choosing one of Samsung’s 2021 TV models.

The company announced its new line of smart TVs in 2021. One of the features is AirPlay 2 support. To the unknown, AirPlay 2 is Apple’s wireless protocol that allows iOS and macOS users to wirelessly stream content to supported devices. It can be a TV or a set of speakers.

It’s slightly different from Bluetooth, where AirPlay 2 piggybacks your home’s WiFi network. Some claim it is more stable than Bluetooth as a result, although non-Apple users probably won’t have that much of a choice to start with due to the fact that it’s only available for Apple devices.

Not only will AirPlay 2 be supported on Samsung’s 2021 TVs, but the Apple TV app will also be installed. This gives your TVs almost the same functionality as the Apple TV set-top box. It also gives users access to content from Apple TV + if they are subscribed.
