The Bank of England and the UK Parliament are receiving “Bitcoin fixes this” treatment
A crypto user appears to be taking an exception to the Bank of England (BoE) current monetary policy and expressing their frustration with a laser projector.
Reported by Twitter user Dominic Frisby, an unknown person projected “Bitcoin fixes this” and other messages on the outside walls of the BoE and the UK Parliament on Saturday. The message appeared under Big Ben as well as on the front of the central bank, surrounded by a red box with the artist’s trademark, and the photo had already been turned into an unverifiable mark.

Many financial institutions around the world are struggling to adjust in the face of the constraints and economic uncertainties caused by the pandemic since March 2020. Since then, the BoE has bought billions in government bonds and corporate debt.
It is unclear why the anonymous bitcoiner projected the message at this particular point in time. The BoE recently listed seven job postings related to a central bank digital currency (CBDC) and will work with Parliament to set up a task force to look into its launch in the UK market. However, it appears that at least one person is dissatisfied with the direction of monetary policy in the UK.
