The Duchess of Cambridge wore probably the most festive tartan face masks from designer Emilia Wickstead

The Duchess of Cambridge has certainly pulled out all of her most festive outfits for her and Prince Williams three-day Royal Train tour of Britain, and that includes festive face masks.

The tour will cover 1,250 miles over three days to thank individuals and communities for their work during the coronavirus pandemic. While the focus is of course on the couple's work, we can't help but be obsessed with the Duchess's festive outfits. With her favorite winter coats, red-green tartan scarves and a very cozy sweater on the beautiful island, Catherine is sure to make us feel happy and ready for the festive season. But it's not just the duchess's coats and scarves that make us feel happy and radiant – her face masks also exude a Christmas mood.

Trust Catherine to make masking incredibly fashionable in the name of safety. On the second day of the Duke and Duchess' Royal Train tour, they stopped at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading (where Catherine happened to be born) to meet NHS staff. For the visit, she wore a red coat by Alexander McQueen, a tartan skirt by Emilia Wickstead and a matching tartan face mask by Emilia Wickstead. We'll admit it: we envy face masks.
